It truly feels like you've taken the thoughts that I've not been able to unscramble enough to leave my brain, and you've unscrambled them for me. Thank you.

Wow

The way you always somehow understand meeeeee

Your words make me feel seen

I guess I am truly living

Sometimes I want to go all out and have it all

Sometimes I just want to vanish, seize to exist

Now I know in both situations I am living

Just being human

Thank uuuuuuuu

WOW Gor, Amazing! Beautifully written. Our life is a kaleidoscope of contrasts and after some time we are lost in the very kaleidoscope. Buddha's middle way is a way to go when we strike a balance between these opposites, be it inside or outside of us. But, as you pointed out, it is easier said than done. So, we go on finding the balance everyday for each one of the opposites and that takes a toll on ourselves. We become accustomed to the toll and think 'that's life,' but is that?

Thank you for writing such a thought provoking stuff.

"The louder we shout about the world, the more deafening the silence becomes when we confront ourselves."

Needed that, put that up on the ol' bulletin board. God bless 🙏

Interesting how the essay frames the self as a battleground between extremes—but I wonder if that tension is less about choosing between them and more about how modern identity depends on performing both at once. Maybe the real exhaustion comes not from division itself, but from constantly translating our contradictions into something legible to others.
